Clinical Therapist

Family Service, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Clinical Therapist. The successful candidate will have experience in direct clinical services working with emotional disabilities, documentation, and case coordination.

  • Diagnose client issues by collecting and evaluating information about their situation.

  • Maintain proper case files and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Monitor progress toward treatment goals and adjust services accordingly.
  • Ensure quality service by enforcing rules, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain credibility by collaborating with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies.
  • Promote agency services by publicizing activities and accomplishments.
  • Uphold professional standards in alignment with the NASW Code of Ethics.

Qualifications:

School-Based Clinical Therapist Job Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young individuals? Family Service, Inc., a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time School-Based Clinical Therapist to provide mental health counseling to students within the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC). This role follows the BCSC school calendar and offers a supportive, family-oriented work environment focused on child abuse prevention education and mental health services.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose client needs by evaluating their emotional and mental health.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case files.
  • Participate in team meetings and staff collaborations.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress toward goals.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with agencies and community partners.
  • Advocate for professional values and participate in industry meetings and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work and/or Counseling required
  • LCSW and/or LMHC preferred
  • Experience working with youth facing emotional disabilities
  • Strong documentation and case coordination skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
