Family Service, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Clinical Therapist. The successful candidate will have experience in direct clinical services working with emotional disabilities, documentation, and case coordination.

School-Based Clinical Therapist Job Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young individuals? Family Service, Inc., a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time School-Based Clinical Therapist to provide mental health counseling to students within the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC). This role follows the BCSC school calendar and offers a supportive, family-oriented work environment focused on child abuse prevention education and mental health services.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose client needs by evaluating their emotional and mental health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and school personnel.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case files.
- Participate in team meetings and staff collaborations.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress toward goals.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including NASW Code of Ethics.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with agencies and community partners.
- Advocate for professional values and participate in industry meetings and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work and/or Counseling required
- LCSW and/or LMHC preferred
- Experience working with youth facing emotional disabilities
- Strong documentation and case coordination skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
